RuninLyon 2012, the Lyon Marathon

Sunday 7th October 2012, Place Bellecour.

It's the third RuninLyon: choose your circuit. Put on your trainers and start training!

Start training right now for the next Lyon Marathon! You'll be in great shape to put your sporting talents to the test around the most beautiful historical heritage sites of the city.

That's right: in Lyon we put some thought into our running!

Pro or amateur, young or not so young, it doesn't matter, the race is open to all: choose your circuit: 10 km, half-marathon (21 km)or marathon (42 km).

And if nothing will persuade you to enter the race, you can still join the party by cheering on the runners and strolling around the health village with its many activities.

Novices and juniors will perhaps opt for the KM Evian de la famille run: a free 1-km circuit (new for 2012) just for the pleasure of running with your children.

All that remains is for you to choose your circuit and reserve your racing bib as soon as possible: the earlier you do it, the cheaper it is!

The 10 KM

Choose a circuit right in the heart of historic Lyon.

The 21-km Half-Marathon

It branches off from the 10 KM in front of the Opera House and follows the banks of the Rhône as far as the Parc de la Tête d'Or.

The Marathon (42 km)

A balanced and pleasant circuit which combines Lyon's historic, cultural and natural heritage.
