The International City of Gastronomy, an outstanding project housed within one of Lyon’s historic buildings in the city centre, will advocate for food as a source of both pleasure and health. It will also promote associated trades and industry expertise, further enhancing and expanding Lyon's reputation as a gourmet city.

A biennial event devoted to taste in the capital of gastronomy

At the end of January, Sirha, the World Hospitality & Food Service Event, will gather together 185,000 professionals from 138 countries. An event which will also cater for the general public this year, with the Biennale Internationale du Goût (the international biennial event devoted to taste).
