Where are the best places to go out in Lyon?

There are many different spots and attractions to visit in Lyon; the nightlife in particular is really exceptional. The two clubs/bars I really love include DV1 and Crazy. However if you are looking for a calmer, more relaxed vibe, Vieux Lyon is the place to go, dotted with small traditional restaurants, it is sure to delight your senses. Why not take a walk around the residential area of Croix-Rousse after a delightful dinner and view the city from a height.

What do you think of city life on a daily basis?

City life in Lyon is wonderful; the city has 9 different districts, which each have their own character and zest. No matter who you are or where you're from, there will definitely be one area in Lyon you will fit in and feel at home. The people are welcoming and the streets are full of noise which gives the area animation. The city is desirable and full of character; there is never a dull moment in Lyon.

What areas would you recommend for gay and lesbian tourists?

There are many different areas I would recommend to gay and lesbian tourists throughout the city. The opera house and the surrounding area is always full of life and vibrancy, it is also particularly welcoming to gay and lesbian people, which made me feel comfortable, for that reason I would definitely recommend the location. Vieux Lyon and Croix Rousse are also two districts that are really picturesque and calming. The two districts are nice to explore and walk around, dotted with cobble stoned pavements and magnificent views, they are perfect for a romantic walk or a coffee and pastry in a dainty café shop.
