Puccini Plus: the festival that brings you that bit more!

Whether you are a dedicated opera-goer or simply a curious music lover, the Lyon Opera has everything you need!
This festival brings you an opportunity to explore Puccini’s Triptych in great detail. Full versions include: Il Tabarro, Suor Angelica and Gianni Schicchi, with all three pieces during the same evening, or the same three pieces over the space of three evenings, but each time set off against other Germanic composers, all contemporaries of Puccini, whose atmospheres and varying aesthetic moods each bear witness to the prolific and immensely creative and passionate period which was the late 19th and early 20th century.
