La Maison des Canuts (silk workers) is a living museum that reveals the richness and quality of the Lyon silk industry. It also featires a gift shop with a large array of textile products: silk scarves, woven scarves, neck-ties, fabrics and laces. Dont miss out on the demostrations of the great invention of the Jacquard loom and other weaving tools. Furthermore educate yourself on the lives of the former silk workers during the 19th century, as well as finding out about the city's current silk trade industry.
