Museums in Lyon chose to open to all!
They set up attractive prices so that everyone has access to collections!
Numerous activities for all ages are offered throughout the year to make sure you see living spaces open on the heritage and arts.

The majority of Lyon’s museums and galleries offer free admission for those aged less than 18 years and for those who are unemployed.

  Free admission for those aged under 18 years old at the Beaux-Arts Museum (free for students under 26), Modern Art Museum, Printing Museum, Henri Malartre Automobile Museum, Gallo-Roman Museum and the Textile & Decorative Arts Museum.
• Free admission for under 12’s at the Maison des Canuts
• Free admission for under 4’s at the Miniature Museum
• The Fourvière Gallo-Roman museum and the Tony Garnier museum are free for everybody on Thursdays
• Free tours at the art galleries

All year, you can attend concerts, rehearsals for free or at very attractive prices!
Large institutions of Lyon: Orchestre National de Lyon, Opera de Lyon, Lyon National Conservatory (CNSMDL), and the various groups offer concerts of all styles of music, at very good rates or even free.

In summer, as part of Operation "Tout l'Monde dehors!" organized by the City of Lyon, many  free outdoor events and concerts are offered.
