Hot Spot: Music

All year, you can attend concerts, rehearsals for free or at very attractive prices!
Large institutions of Lyon: Orchestre National de Lyon, Opera de Lyon, Lyon National Conservatory (CNSMDL), and the various groups offer concerts of all styles of music, at very good rates or even free.

In summer, as part of Operation "Tout l'Monde dehors!" organized by the City of Lyon, many  free outdoor events and concerts are offered.

Concerts less than €10 

At the National Opera:

• €5 for everyone (standing areas in the main hall or in the Amphi hall)
• €10 for those aged over 65 years, the under 28’s and the unemployed (tickets on sale 30 mins before the show)
• In summer, with Jazz au Péristyle, you can attend free jazz concerts while you enjoy a salad.

  Expresso Concert: with Lyon National Orchestra, on Friday at lunch time (12h30, duration: 1 hour) - Price: 10€
  (Dates: 8 October, 5 and 19 November and 17 December 2010, 28 January, 18 February,  22 April and 27 May 2011).
• Each September, The Lyon National Orchestra invests the city for free outdoor concerts during the "musical Walks". Date: 19 September 2010
• With the "Fauteuil & Tribune" offer you can buy a concert ticket + a football game ticket at Stade de Gerland for €20

At Hot-Club, Marché Gare, Grrrnd zero, Kraspet Mysik, Salle Genton and other cafés-concerts: cheap and good concerts.
