A meeting with the Lumière brothers

 The Lumière brothers invented the cinematograph in Lyon in the year 1895.

Follow an interactive path through their family home that relate Louis and Auguste Lumière's adventure and their numerous inventions, including ther first colour photographs and the cinematograph.

Do not miss the shows of  Lumière's films.

Take a short trip to the workshop where the first aver film was made, the first decor in the history of the cinematograph, immortalised by the film "La Sortie des Usines Lumière" ("Leaving the Lumière factory").

Admission to be paid on arrival.
