Inaugurated in 1863 to be the place of worship for the Dominican convent of the same name, it became the parish church in 1909. It has one of the most beautiful organs in Lyon. It is part of the Brotteaux deanery.
Messe 1 fois par mois en portugais par le frère dominicain, Joseph de Almeida Monteiro, dominicain, curé de la paroisse depuis octobre 2012.
