The majority of Lyon’s museums and galleries offer free admission for those aged less than 18 years and for those who are unemployed.

• Free admission for those aged under 18 years old at the Beaux-Arts Museum, Modern Art Museum, Printing Museum, Henri Malartre Automobile Museum, Gallo-Roman Museum and the Textile & Decorative Arts Museum.

• Free admission for under 12’s at the Maison des Canuts

• Free admission for under 4’s at the Miniature Museum

• The Fourvière Gallo-Roman museum and the Tony Garnier museum are free for everybody on Thursdays

• Free tours at the art galleries
