THE MOST POPULAR AND WELL KNOWN RESORTS

 

They are: l’Alpe d’Huez, la Plagne, Megève, Tignes, Val d’Isère, Valmorel, Courchevel, Chamonix – Mont Blanc…

But if you are more a cross-country skier, Autrans hosts every year ‘La Foulée Blanche ’ a popular skiing competition.

Whether you are more interested in the high speeds, seeking that ultimate adrenaline rush, want to go for a walk in the snow, wish to be pulled along by the sleigh dogs or even go on an unusual excursion, there is bound to be a ski resort that will meet your wishes.

Les plateaux du Vercor, la Chartreuse, les Arcs, Chamrousse, La Norma and even le Mont Blanc, are all accessible from Lyon.

SUMMER

 

Lyon’s Summer months are the time to enjoy those outdoor activities such as: potholing (caving), mounting biking, horse riding, hiking, golfing, hot air balloon trips, water sports, paragliding, bungee jumps, fishing,… or simply a leisurely stroll.

 

Spending one or a few days at the camping sites enable visitors to capture and witness the most beautiful and picturesque views of Lyon and its regions.

 

Would you like to participate in an adrenaline and fun filled activity?

 

La Drôme, l’Ardèche or l’Isère are the places to visit for mountain climbing and other types of climbing activities, including via ferrata.

 

If you interested in water sports the many rivers of Ardèche and the Drôme Valley are the place to head towards, here visitors can go canoëing, kayaking, rafting, scuba diving, sailing and jet skiing.
