For 50 years, Gerland Stadium is devoted to Soccer!
Discover the history of the stadium, one of the most ancient in France.
Completed in 1926, Gerland stadium, which conception is inspired of Roman architecture, was designed by architect Tony Garnier and has undergone several renovations, most recently in 1998 to accommodate matches of the soccer World Cup.
Nowadays, its total capacity is 41,842 numbered seats in covered areas.
